Hearing Screenings in November
Get a free 15-minute hearing screening provided by ASU Audiology Clinicians and students.
- Monday, Nov. 18 | 8 a.m.–11:30 a.m. | DES, 8990 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria | Register
- Thursday, Nov. 21 | 8–12 p.m. | Capitol Mall, 1400 W. Washington St., Phoenix (Park behind the building on Adams St.) | Register
Please refer to the flyer for complete testing details. Pre-registration is required, and walk-in appointments are not available. These events are for employees only. If you cannot make these events or need screenings for your family, see the list of free screening providers. You can also earn 100 HIP points.
Free Screenings Year-Round
- Check our free screening provider list.
- To receive free screening, tell the provider you are a State of Arizona employee.
Tests Performed
- A pure-tone test to determine if hearing levels are at or below the screening levels at key speech frequencies.
- A tympanogram measurement to determine middle ear function.
- An otoscopic evaluation will determine if outer ear issues, such as cerumen (earwax) or other problems, need attention.
Earn HIP Points
- You may earn 100 HIP points toward the $200 annual reward.
- After your screening, visit the Virgin Pulse site, Home> Rewards> How to Earn> Participation> Hearing Screening, and complete the Hearing Screening Attestation Form.
